The Cybersecurity Working Group strengthens awareness of digital security through interdisciplinary information exchange, educational work, and practical awareness-raising formats for current IT security challenges. It connects experts, companies, and institutions to promote cooperation and jointly develop effective solutions or provide answers to pressing questions. The working group aims to actively shape regional frameworks and visibly represents its expertise through contributions, expert panels, and conference participation. Internally, the Cybersecurity Working Group serves as a competence and expert body and point of contact for all members.

Thuringia's ecosystem is early-stage and "homegrown" – many of Thuringia's founders studied in the state.
